WOW DECEMBER 1st
I can't believe it's already December 1st. Time just flies by. I don't know where this year has gone. I'm a very happy person these days. In all honesty a majority of it has to do with exterior events that have happened.
My weight loss is going great and people are really starting to notice. I have been shopping like crazy. When I leave my house to go shopping I have in my head that I'm going shopping for others. By the time I come back home I have shopped for myself as well as for others. I love shopping for ME now. I love the smaller sizes. I love the looks I get from my co-workers now. These days they REALLY LOOK at me. Before I was just Kendra - pretty much just one of the guys. Now I have a shape to look at.
I love having ****tails at this place called Dutchs. People are starting to notice a difference there too.
I've been shopping for and picking out outfits for the holiday parties this year. I've actually been invited to 7 parties this year. Last year I think I went to 1 party.
All this new attention is doing wonders for my self esteem. I actually bought a pair of boots with a 3" heel. I call them my "Kick a-- & take names" boots. I'm wearing clothes that show off the new body.
I just feel good. I'm counting down the days til Christmas. I'm going to North Carolina and see my family. For those that don't know about my surgery they are going to be in for a BIG SURPRISE.
I am so grateful that my family is happy, healthy and we will all be together for Christmas. I'm so grateful that I have the support of so many people around. I'm just grateful for this new life. It makes me cry to be this happy.
I guess that's it. Just wanted to share that little bit of joy.
