Support for Mary Mc

Hi Everyone, I hope that everyone can lend their support to Mary. She had her surgery on 9/30 and was doing great until she developed an infection on her left side. It has since developed into an abcess and she has been in the hospital the last two weeks. Her left lung collapsed and she has developed a rind around lung (the lung's effort to protect itself from the abcess). Mary is having surgery today to remove the rind and the abcess. Oh my goodness. I hope everything works out for her. I had a right collaspsed lung and pancake on the other. It can work itself out though. I hope the infection clears itself up. Do you know what kind of infection? I will be thinking of her for sure. Thanks for letting us know. Tavia
