INFO-St Charles Hospital in Pt. Jeff

Hello All, I have a friend that was looking into going to a seminar at St Charles Hospital in Pt. Jeff, does anyone know anything about this? I also told her to call there and they might give her the info..... Thanks all... Debra P 285/193/125??

hey debs my surgeon is starting to do surgery out of st charles so its proly with DR. AHMAD! he is awesome... but i would pick mather over st. charles for the hospitol choice but i guess with the right doctor its fine. Dr. ahmad is of course my hero! IF u want more infor deb let me know! I used mather hospitol as i had a rotten stay at st. charles with having my son 2 years ago .....but im sure with dr. ahmad on the case he is on top of everything there. LISA

hey Deb... I was the very first RNY surgery at St. Charles Hospital in Sept. They had only allowed LapBands .. they just opened up to RNY. She should call Dr. Ahmad's office...(he is in Port Jeff). He is the only surgeon they will allow to do the surgery in that hospital...(they are apparently very picky...a good thing). Dr. Ahmad also works out of Mather in Port Jeff (his office is actually in Mather)..they are just starting to have seminars at St. Charles starting in January 2006 and Dr. Ahmad told us last night (at support group) that the support meetings will be divided up between Mather and St. Charles (every other month) I LOVED St. Charles...they were wonderful there...and being the first RNY I got unbelievable attention!
