Weight Loss Surgery for Dummies
OK so the company that sells for "for Dummies" books is totally awesome. I did not realize all the topics that they cover. Anyway I purchased the book Weight Loss Surgery for Dummies book from Walmart.com. I love this book. I wish I would've had this book prior to my surgery. It does give a lot of good insight for people that are pre-op, in the hospital and post op. It gives about 40 recipes from shakes to purees to pork to beef. It's just amazing.
I ordered the book for my husband. Usually he hates to read books. Let me tell you that this is like his bible now. Everytime I look at him he has this book in his hands. I'm very grateful b/c he has been difficult since coming home from the hospital.
Allow me a small vent here. Michael had open gastric bypass on 11/1. The doctors released him 2 days later. I was totally unhappy about that. He's got staples all over the place. He's still in a lot of pain, yet he's home. So now I get to play nurse. Not happy about that at all. OK that's the end of my vent. Thanks for lettin me share.
Buy the book. Walmart.com sells it for $14.05. It's great and I'm glad I bought it.

Oh my goodness, that is insane. Ugh.
How is he now? When do the staples come out?
Kendra,
No problem ! We are very good listener's here . Sounds like that book might give you somewhat of a break ...HUH ? I hope so . I am sure it is very hard on you as you just had the surgery yourself. I can't believe they would let him go home at 2 days out ? !!!!!!!! I could maybe see it if he had it done laproscopic , but open ? You gotta be kidding me ?
Well honey, I wish you all the best and through all this don't forget about yourself as you are still healing too !
I am pre -op so I am going to be getting that book . Thanks for giving us the scoop on it !
