Yeah I'm back!!!! Surgery date was 10/25/05 It seemed to go pretty smooth, untill the swallow test. So I go for the swallow test and it looked like I had a leak. They showed me and it looked pretty clear that I had a leak. So the surgeons went down and took a look at the film to see the results and they were in agreement. "I have a leak" GRRRRREAT!!! So what does this mean? Surgery #2 to get a look around inside and repair any leaks they find. So they get me in the OR again the same routine....Enzo go sleepy time now! I wake up aand they're like "you have no leak, you never did, the swallow test was incorrect" at this point they put two drains in so they can check my internal fluids for saliva that might escape thru any leaks. Anyway after a couple of days I was on liquid diet, then onto mushy foods, walking everyday, drains are out. I am home and feel strong! I got home yesterday around 1:30pm a I am happy to be home!

I am so happy you are home!!

YAY! How are you feeling? I do had surgery #2 right after my initial one but it was for a really bad stricture and small bowel obstruction. It sucks you had to go through that but I'm glad everything worked out in the end! Remember to get your ZzzZZz

and keep up with the liquids at this point. Whenever you want to go out for a walk let me know. Take care.
