Hi! I've been lurking a bit and wanted to say hi.... I'm going into the workup routine now where I'm going to go for appointments next month then finally meeting with the surgeon on the 22nd of November. I would like to have the lap band procedure done. I'm on WW to lose my 10 pounds. Keeping it off will be a challenge because we're going to Disney before the surgery will take place. anyway, I'm 33, married, 2 boys & live in the Hudson Valley. Kristine

Hi Kristine, Welcome aboard!!;.) I wish you the very best on your decision to have WLS. It is truly the best decision I have made for myself. I don't regret it for a minute. I only regret not having had it sooner. This site has been the nost wonderful place for me to visit whenever I had any questions, or even when I just wanted to vent. The people here are awesome. Without this site and it's members, I don't know what I would've done. Well once again, Welcome, and although I am only three months into surgery, feel free to email me with any questions you might have.
