- Pre-Op Testing Completed!!!!

Okay all of my pre-op testing have been completed. Blood work, EKG, Chest X-ray. Now I begin the waiting game. Surgery is on Nov. 7th ( a couple of days after my b-day) and I just can't wait. I start my liquid only diet on Saturday, Nov. 5th in the morning. On Sunday afternoon I have to take this liquid that's going to make me pooooop all day. Nothing to drink Sunday after midnight. Then Monday my new b-day, how wonderful. I'm getting a little nervous but excited at the same time. Any last words of wisdom from all of you post ops will be greatly appreciated.....thanks again for all your wonderful words of encouragement. Pat Smith 302.1/150 (hey i'm down another 2.9 lbs.)

Pat, Hun congrats on getting it all done, I know that is an awesome feeling. The waiting game is killer, well it was for me. Oh only 13 more days until your rebirth... That is also so exciting. I wish you all the best and I am sure you are going to be so happy with your new life. I know it was the best thing I ever did, even though at the beginning I went through some depression (mourned food) but I knew it was normal and so many supported me here, it works out but not everyone goes through this so I wish the rest of your journey goes smoothly. ~Hugs~ Debra P 285/202.5/125??

Congrats! My surgery is the same day as yours, and I also just finished my pre-op testing. YAY!!!
