GHI HMO FEHB Members?

Anyone out there have the surgery under GHI HMO? I'm looking for information on what they will required for pre-approval. Reading all of the nightmarish insurance problems makes me realize that you really have to have your ducks in a row in order to avoid some majore delays. Anything you can offer would be appreciated. Debbie, Hello there. ~hugs~ I had GHI PPO but I think they all (GHI) want the 6 month weight loss history which I did not have so I have to put off surgery for 6 month while seeing a Dr and Nutrionist, weighing in every month What a pain but that is what they wanted. I know letters also helps in the appoval. Your surgeon should know what they/you need to do/have to get that approval going. I wish you the very best... ~hugs~ Debra P
