Are there any lap band surgeons in Buffalo or Syracuse?

Hi everyone, I'm just wondering if any of you who are my neighbors in Buffalo or Syracuse have had Lap Band surgery in your home towns. I'm looking for information on surgeons and if anyone has any recommendations for good ones? I don't see any registered on the list's on this website so I thought I'd check with all of you out there. Megan, You could try Dr. Mecenas in Ithaca. He did my gastric-bypass but I orginally looked into the lap-band, only my insurance would not pay for it. He is a great surgeon and his staff is very helpful with all of the out of town people that go to him. Best wishes, Teri
