Help...2 questions
Hi guys. I need some advice...
Tonight I have a business dinner/meet & greet thing to go to and it is being held at an Italian restaurant. I am 4 weeks out today and am looking for some advice as to what I should eat...the BEST choice since I can only eat about 2 oz. I am thinking just soup? If it is buffet style I am thinking a meatball? What do you think?
My second issue is that I am 4 weeks out today. I lost 20 pounds my first week and have only lost about 7 in the past 3. I am feeling discouraged. I am due to get Aunt Flo tomorrow, so I am thinking maybe that has something to do with it. I feel great and my clothes are fitting better, but I guess I just want to hear that other people have gone through this. I mean, ~28 pounds in a month is great, but being so slow lately is discouraging. Any advice or support would be appreciated.

Hey Erin,
1st off congrats on getting this far and being able to be out and about only 4 weeks post-op!
1) Yes 1 meatball with a bit of sauce is the perfect meal at 4 weeks post op. Soup not as good since you want the protein!
2) don't feel discouraged at all! I lost exactly 28lbs in my first 4 weeks and my Dr. told me I was totaly on schedule and doing fine!

Hun I was going to say have a meatball with some melted mozz on it might be really good and you are getting your protein, jus****ch the sauce if it comes in it. Some places seem to put sugar in their sauce.
As far as your weight loss hun, I have to say that is awesome and you will keep losing as long as you follow the plan but know that it does slow down at times and over time. I am dealing with this right now and I am 4 months out. It does get slower and as your pouch heals I know I can eat more. What you are going through is normal. ~Hugs~ Are you getting in all your water, protein, and vitamins? I know that really does help and getting enough calories for what you should be eating helps as well.

Hun you will have ups and down in the weight loss area, I come to see that and it does slow down. I am about 10 lbs a month now and seems like it might be slower yet but hang in there and it will pick up again for you, remember when you are not losing weight you are losing inches.. It is all good.
Congrats on your 28 lbs so far, that is just awesome.
