Thank you so much LisaMarie!
My pouch right now is gurgling at me in protest!
Tavia, I sure hope you have found the answer to your problems. I have twice now had severe pain in my lower left abdomen. The first time, two weeks ago, I went to the ER and after spending 12 hours there, nothing showed up. I again had those pains last night. This time they lasted from 6 pm til 7:30 am this morning. I chose not to go back to the ER, but stayed home and was vomitting all night. I went to my primary doctor this morning, and am going to my gastro doctor tomorrow as they think it may be diverticulitis.
I do want to make a comment about the ovarian cysts. While this may not be the case with you, cysts do come and go sometimes. This is what happened with me. I had a cyst on my left ovary, and when I went for one of my follow up sonorgrams, the cyst had gone away. These types of cysts are called functional cysts, and you can have them without even knowing it. It is a possibitlity that you did not have them two weeks ago, and now have them, and then will not have them again next time you have a sonorgram or cat scan. Again, this might not be the case with you, but it is possible.
My problem was this> I only have one ovary due to having the other removed when I had an ectopic pregnancy about 12 years ago. I went for one sono, and the report said I had a cyst on my left ovary. When I went back, the report said that while the first time, it appeared the cyst was on the left ovary, the second time, it appeared to be on my right ovary. The funny thing is, I dont have a right ovary! Needless to say, when I go for my next sono next week, I will be going to another radiology place,
I really hope everything works out for you. I have been reading your posts for sometime, and you have gone through so much !!!!!
In one of your posts you mentioned Jenean. Is she doing OK? Has her doctor/insurance problem settled? I worry about her, too.
I continue to pray for you. SH

Hello Christine,
Thank you so much for support and kindness, really. Like I always say I know people type "thanks for support etc etc" all the time but I actually do truly mean it.
It just sucks to be still dealing with issues but it's getting better. I am getting answers slowly but surely. Have a great day and take care!
Tavia
Dear Tavia,
I have been watching your posts for a few weeks. I am still preop and fairly new to all this. However, like S H, I have had ovarian cysts, and they went away by themselves. Later I had cysts on my right kidney, and those went away too. I had only moderate pain, so I didn't get any meds for them.
I hope that your medical problems clear up soon, so that you can enjoy yourself for a change!
My best wishes to you!
Pat
