Hello All ~Hugs~ I hope you all had a great weekend Mine was a cross between relaxing and getting things done so it was good. The weather was not all that bad either. Well this is what I had yesterday: B- Champion banana protein shake with 3 starberries, 8 oz carb countdown milk. S- String Cheese L- 1/2 Atkins seafood wrap, a couple sips of Diet Coke (not as good as I remembered, which I guess was a good thing ) D- 2-3 oz grilled chicken with melted muzz cheese, 1/4 cup mashed potatos (had dinner with Mom when she passed through last night ) S- 1 oz soy chips (awesome they were apple cinnamon, taste like those cinnamon sticks that Wendys used to have) Well that is it....You all have a great day! ~hugs~ Debra P 285/208/125??

Linda, Yes it sure was but not as bad as over the weekend....WOW.. I was scared that some trees where going to fall on the house but all was ok, though there was a tree that fell in the road next to ours. Well have a great day ~hugs~ Take care Debra P 285/2108/125??

Happy Monday. Weekend was overcast and windy and waaaaaayyyyyy to short (aren't they always?) Went on a wine tasting bus trip Saturday (4 wineries and didn't taste one drop of wine) but sure walked and shopped in all the gift shops. Then went out with friends that night and danced the night away. I just love this new lease on life - what energy and I still have a long way to go. Anyway, here's what I ate yesterday - it's alittle off because I didn't get home until 3 a.m. and then didn't wake up until noon. L - Cheese curds S - 1/2 Protein bar D - Small amount of egg drop soup w/ 3 oz shrimp w/chinese vegatables S - Cheese with ff saltine crackers, ff pretzel sticks Have a wonderful day. Cindee, Yes it sure was windy this weekend. WOW.... but at least the rain when away. Well it sure sounds like you had a great time. It is nice to be able to do more and not feel so bad after doing it, sure makes you feel great. Hi Deb! Yesterday was a good day for me with my food. I have been struggling the past 2 weeks. The food is calling me, and unfortunatly, I have given in to it several times. I seem to be back on track now! It's so true what they say...this surgery is only a tool. It's not a miracle cure...it really is possible to gain the weight back! B-Cottage cheese w/carb control peaches S-small bag of soy chips L-egg salad ( 2 eggs w/light mayo) 4 saltine crackers S-small cup SF low fat frozen yogurt D-chicken thigh, 2 tbsp rice, green beans S- small handful of pretzel sticks Have a great day! Gail, Yes hun, you can gain is back if we go back to our old ways, I know for me it is very scary to think about that. I am hoping this new way of thinking and habits will stay with me for my new life. I try to stay aways from that kind of thinking but I do see that as time goes by we can eat more then when we first had this done and I worry about that as well but hope that I have made these changes for life. Let's see if I can remember what I had yesterday..... B: Protein Shake S: carb countdown yogurt L: 1/2 mom's meatball with a bit of sauce, mashed up (YUMMY!) D: mozz cheese, a sliver of a roasted red pepper, and some balsamic vinegar I missed my 2nd protein shake, but am making sure to get it in today. Have a GREAT evening!
