Today I did the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk at Jones Beach. It was a total of 5 miles. Well, we started going and it was great! I didn't feel tired or sweaty or anything! It was really windy, but I was just enjoying the day walking with hundreds of people on the boardwalk. Well, at about 3.5 miles one of my friends said she needed to stop going. I thought I would be the one to need to stop! It was such a GREAT feeling! What a nice morning! Erin

THAT is wonderful isnt it. GOOD FOR YOU and it was just lovely on LONG ISLAND this morning especially for a walk as you had done. SO much fun to do new things now that we can. I actually went to the mall with my three kids and it was grand. I was able to walk all over and didnt get tired! ALL the best lisa

That's great, I'm glad you're doing so well post-op This walk was good practice for the Miracle Walk next year in Long Beach with Dr.Garber.

Erin, Congratulations on your "wow" moment. Isn't it wonderful to be doing things we never thought we'd be doing? I know that every year for the past several years I've volunteered at the Hilton Applefest (first weekend in October) working in one of the souvenoir booths and every year I've had to sit in between sales - but this year I actually stood for 4-1/2 hours and still felt great. What a miracle. May you have many more "wow" moments in your future. Cindee 310/240/?
