Yes I'm putting them on blast. I thought I would be fighting the insurance co but it seems cori is the problem. How unprofessional and unorganized can you get. Why am I wasting my time begging them to call me back. I feel as if I can't reach you now what's going to happen if something is wrong after surgery. I'm thinking about Dr. Merola in NYHQ are there any of his patient's here? My insurance is the Empire Plan NYS gov't emplyees with united healthcare/bcbs ppo does anyone have this? and who in queens? Please get back if you can

Lovely Vee: Sorry about your problems with the Cori Center. Try the docs at Mt. Sinai in Manhattan (Dr. Daniel Herron) or the docs at NYP-C (Dr. M. Gagner or Dr. A. Pomp) All 3 do lap band, lap RNY and lap DS. Susan in NYC

By all means, try Dr. Kini at Mt. Sinai. I forgot about him, and also forgot about the MDs at Lenox Hill. Only one I can think of right now is Dr. Kurian, but there are some other excellent ones there. Good luck! Susan in NYC

Hi, I had problems with my original choice of surgeon and had to switch too. It's very frustrating, when you are trying to get this done and people are not cooperating. I don't know anything about Dr. Merola. However, I used Dr. Kini (he works with Dr. Herron) at Mt. Sinai and I was extremely happy with both doctors and the staff there. Good luck!

Lovely Vee, it was quite a hike from Mt. Vernon to Mt. Sinai for me but it was worth it. Good luck.

Vee: The trip is long from the Rockaways, but absolutely worth it! The closest subway stop to Mt. Sinai is on 96th and Lex--the 4, 5 and 6 trains stop there. I think the A goes to Far Rockaway, does it stop at 14 St. Union Square? You could transfer to the 4, 5 or 6 there. The 4 and 5 run express in Manhattan, the 6 is local. Susan
