Hey there Tavia, I am so sorry to hear of the ordeal you have been going through. I know it's easy for me to say to because I really never had any (knock wood) complication at all! But Tavia please hang in there! I know it seems like it will never get better but please, please, please keep the faith. It is wonderful to know you have so many wonderful people to be there for you and support you. Tavia if there is anything I can do please let me know. Hi Evelyn Glad to see you're back! We Missed you! You look wonderful by the way. I wish I could get down to your weight--this was my original goal but I came to the conclusion it was too unrealistic---sooooooo----my new goal now is 140-145. I am now at 150 and having a really hard time breaking the 150 and getting down to at least 145. I have passed my Dr's goal which for me was 155-160. I am determined to get down to my goal--especially since I am only 5-10 pounds away. Afterall, what is 5-10 pounds other than 1-2 five pound bags of sugar? Anyhow, I am glad to see your post and hope you will be staying and not disappearing again into cyberland. Hugs Marianne PS--I have one question for you--At over one year out now how have you been dealing with temptations, cravings and nasty old habbits????

OMG Marianne you look FANTASTIC!!!!!!! I swear I would have never known that was you if I didn't see your before picture. Man oh man those guys must be running after you! You must have to beat them off with a stick (more like a 2 by 4) Marianne believe me what you can do is change your diet and that usually helps with some more weight loss but I have to say you look WONDERFUL just the wayn you are As for the temptation I have to say, yes there I times I want something but I tell myself hey you didn't come this far to screw this up did you! Then I take the old pic of me before the surgery out of my wallet and look at it and that really kicks me in the butt and then I really say NO WAY don't even go there! I am so happy to be back I can't believe all the responces I got from my post but then again I should have since we have such a wonderful Family here. It's so good to be back! I missed you all! Hi Evelyn, Welcome back. I'm new here too. I'm 3 months out & 40 lbs, 5 sizes & lots of inches down!! I had a stricture & some ulcerations early on, but things seem to be settling down now. I am wearing a blazer I couldn't button a week ago! Now it looks great. I am so happy I made this choice & that G-d has been watching me! Linda

CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU LINDA!!!!!!!That is so awesone!!!!!!! It is so wonderful here on the board and everyone here is always willing to help in one way or another. I have been on the board since the beginning of 2004 but just this summer I disappeared for a while I have to make sure not to do that anymore I missed my family here! Keep up the great work!!!!!!! Hey Evelyn WOW, long time no see. So glad you had a great summer!! I am doing really well. I can finally say WLS is the best thing I ever did (next to my kids). I am really happy and feeling great. I would like to lose another 15 pounds but I could stay here as well. Glad to see you back Tina 330/165/150?

Hi Evelyn! my name is Linda i had my surgery on jan. 26 ,2004--from 262 down to 140--130-- nice to meet you!!!!Now im going for the reconstructive surgery on oct.21-i got the ok from insurence and i am ready!!!!
