new to the board..looking for doctor

Hello, Iam liz.. From western new york state and iam looking into having this surgery.. I was hoping someone could tell me a good dr. in buffalo, ny? any help would be great thanks liz

Hi Liz - Welcome to the NY board. Don't know much about Buffalo - How about Rochester?? Highland Hospital Thad Boss, MD - My friend used him and liked him very much William O'Malley, MD - I know several people who have had Dr. O'malley as their surgeon and raved about him. Rochester General Daniel Galvin, MD - From what I understand, fairly new to the area (just a year or so) but comes highly recommended. Park Ridge Pasquale Iannoli, MD -Sorry, but I don't know a lot about Dr. Iannoli, but haven't heard anything negative about him. I know that there are other surgeons that do this surgery in the area, but for the life of me, their names are escaping me right now. Let me know if this helps!! Hi Elizabeth, Welcome to the board. I see you are looking for a surgeon. If you look at the top of your screen you will see a tab that says "information" Click on it and scroll down a little and look to the right of your screen and you can click on Hospitals in your are and then click on NY then it will take you to a page with a listings of all the hospitals ( I found Buffalo General Hospital for you there) and then you can call them amd see what docs do the surgery.
