I have a date, I have a date....
Everyone please join me while I do the happy dance. After a very frustrating day at the surgeons office yesturday (due to my lost chart and a very unprofessional secretary), I was called today and I have a date for Monday, Nov. 7th. It's funny how they give you a date without submitting everything to insurance for approval, but I'm hoping they know what they are doing. I go for my pre-operating tesing (ekg, bloodwork, and chest extra) on Tuesday, Oct. 25th. I'm wondering if this pre-operating testing is as good as medical clearance, but I'm just going to have to do more homework on the subject. As soon as I'm approved, I shall let you all know.
I want to also thank you guys for all your stories, not only are they full of great information but inspiring as well.
Any suggestions on which type of vitamines, iron supplements and calcium chews I should purchase.
Thanks Again
Pat

Pat,
Hun that is great news..... I know you must be smiling from ear to ear. Well congrats....I know for me I had the pre testing and I still needed my PCP to give me clearance before surgery so I would check with your surgoen and see what they require.
I have to say that I am taking Centrum Chewables, 2 times a day and Viactive Calcium chews, 4 a day.
Well I wish you the best ~hugs~

Pat,
Congrats on your date.... I too got a date before the insurance cleared it. I don't know why they do that.
Debra gave you some great choices for vitamin and calcium. CountryLife also have great bariatric supplements. But dont' for get those Potien Shakes as well. I am currently using designer whey. The vaniella doesn't taste that bad.
