Hello everyone! I hope all is well. I received some VERY scary news today about my 11 year old cousin. She is a daughter of one of the AMOS members as well. She has developed lumps in her lymphs nodes and fluid around her heart within the last month. Her peditrician has tested her for mono and strep several times-all negative. She had a Catscan today and now the Dr is saying it could be one of three things: Epp Stein bar, Cat Scatch Fever or the worst leukimea (?). I love this child like she's my own daugther! She is 7 months older than my eldest son and they have grown up together. I'm scared to death that this beautiful girl has cancer! So I'm asking everyone to please pray for a good result. Her name is Tori. Myself and her family appreicate all the support we can get! Her mother is completely beside herself at this point. Lord please watch over our beautiful Thanks again, Barb

Barbara, Hun I am sorry to hear about your cousin, I have 2 that are like my kids and they are a little older now but I would be so very upset if something ever happened to them. I will keep Tori and your whole family in my thoughts and prayers that this turns out ok. I will also hope that what ever is in front of this family that God walks you through it together! I know with EppStein Bar that there is really nothing to do for that because I suffer from that, it comes and goes. You get really tired and wiped out from that. The Dr told me it comes from having Mono when I was younger. I just hope it all turn out ok hun and if you need anything just let us know. ~hugs~ Take care Debra P

I'm so sorry that you are going through this. My husband had cat scratch fever several months ago. He hates going to the dr, but when one of his lymph nodes swelled to the size of a walnut literally, he went. They put him on extremely strong antiboitics and drained the node (yuck), but he recovered nicely. My prayers are with you and your family. I hope it is the least serious of illnesses. Micha
