Tea at the Plaza Hotel

Coming to NYC in December. I know the Plaza was recently sold, but do they still do tea? If so, has anyone been there for tea - what was it like? If not, can you recommend a place in midtown? Thanks as always, Teresa (WE LOVE NYC!)
