worried!

Ok just a day after getting my date from Cori i recieve a letter from Empire. It says that one of the conditions that need to be met is medical records from the last 3 years showing weight loss attempts. I have records that go back 5 years but the last 3 have been a little slow, i have attempted to loose weight from weigh****chers, i was able to obtain a letter verifying 4 mths in 2003, but that is it. They couldnt locate any other memberships even though there were at least 3 more. My records are in debt but dated 2000, 2001 mostly. Not a whole lot from 2003-now, i was pregnant for much of that time lol and also had a kidney removed and my gallbladder. i have a 3 year old and a 2 year old. I was so happy just a little while ago and now i am so upset.

can you go to your primary docter he should have some file on you with at least a few pound difference--i have empire too--and they covered everything--basically i needed the same but i always had problems with weight--i went to dr. for diet pills and weigh****chers and nutra system and jenny craig--and evry diet on the earth--i hope it works out for you--its tuff in the beginning but oh boy does it pay off--im off for the nip and tuck period--waiting on insurance approval for that!!

First i want to say you look great! Thanks for the words of encouragement. I am trying to think positive. Who do you have your empire through?

first thanks--it was a rough road--but very happy with results.....now.....i have my empire threw my husbands union--its empire ppo-i was approved within 3 days----now im waiting for them to approve my reconstructive surgery---

Did you have medical records in the last 3 years with medically supervised diets and stuff?????

I had EMPIRED PPo and i had no problem being approved. I hope they havent gotten more stiffer on approvals.... that documented weight loss thing is really stressful. GOOD LUCK! SORRY to hear of all this. LISA

Lisa, Hun I am sorry you are dealing with this issue, I do not have Empire but I did have to do a 6 month weight loss program that upset me, there was no medical reason for it just the game the Ins plays. If they do not have the documents how long will you have to do a program for? I can not believe they would expect you to do a 3 year program!!!! I would try and get letters from what ever Dr's you have been seeing and explain that you have been pregnant, gallbladder surgery and kidney surgery. You can fight this a win!!! Hang in there and do not let them win.... I know an option for me with GHI was if I would have gotten a lawyer but mine was only 6 months.... I wish you the best hun ~hugs~ Debra P 285/215/125??
