Serious support needed

Hello my New York family, I just got a bit of a shock yesterday. I went to the post surgery support meeting and the person who runs it "MY Jennie" is no longer there I got no reason and apparently it was sudden. My question is are there any more places in Queens that I can get support? I feel very out there, like someone opened the door and let me (a domesticted dog) out. My surgey and support were at North Shore LIJ of Forest Hills. Apparently Jennie ran the whole thing because the person filling in did not know we were waiting to be weighed and that we usually sign in. I am not much of a self starter and I feel she was helping me to see a more optimistic way of life. I want to get her number but I don't know the cirumstances under which she left and would not like them to violate her rights to give me her number. Jess J

Hey Jess, I live in New Hyde Park which is the border of Nassau/Queens. I also would love to know any support meetings in the area. When I am feeling up to it I would love to go. Let me know if you hear anything! I had my surgeries out of North Shore-Manhasset. Thanks. Tavia
