Day 2 of Week of Back to Basics!

Just wanted to check in to say that I hope all is going well for everyone so far. Remember to stay focused and not to lead into temptation. I have been doing pretty well so far. Been to busy these past two days to even think of eating. Bombarded in paperwork like you would not believe. Just took short breaks to have a cup of chile for lunch, and a protein dinner. Of course I did drink my liquid protein, water and took all my vitamins. Almost ready for bed and then to wake up and begin another new day.

I've been doing really well as well. Are you able to get some exercise in? I have been trying, we'l see what tomorrow brings. It is so true though that eating only protein really decreases the hunger and it seems for me head hunger. NOt that I was overdoing the carbs but I see a difference in only two days. Just happened upon your post and I too am on day 2 of "back to basics". I had lost 150 pounds since surgery 12/02 but have slowly put back on 25 of it over the past year and a half- I am taking it one day at a time and am trying to get back into the wls habits that I left along the road somewhere.. Lets keep it up and gain strength anew each morning as we get one more day under our belt!!

I think I did okay yesterday. I had a yogurt for breakfast, mid-morning I had SF pudding, for lunch I had a small salad with tomatoes and swiss cheese, mid-afternoon snack I had a small fruit salad, for dinner I had salad a small piece of salmon. I drank only 48oz of water yesterday, today I will try to drink all 64 oz of water.
Let's see how I do today.
