Tomorrow is the BIG day!!!
Marian
God Bless and may all go smoothly tomorrow without a hitch! In just a matter of hours you will be joining all of us post-ops on the losers bench! BTW, I see that you live in Queens Village! I grew up in Queens Village. I went to PS 34 for kindergarden, and then to Sts. Joachim & Anne elementary school for grades 1-8. I use to live on Hollis Ave and 217th Street. My Dad used to be a Fireman at the station next to Howard Johnsons just South of the LI Railroad station near Jamaica Ave off of Hollis Ave. Small World. I want to take my girls back and show them where I grew up, went to school/church, and where their Grandpa worked. When you feel up to it, fill me in on the old neighborhood ok? Get some rest and dream happy thoughts. Tomorrow truly is the first day of the rest of your life!
Take care and Stay safe!
Hugs

Thank you Marianne,
I wish that I could get some rest --but I am just too excited!
I looked at your profile--Wow! what a journey!
The old neighborhood is still pretty quiet--I attend Incarnation Church--You know the little wooden Catholic church--on Francis Lewis and 89th. The neighborhood is very international now. The people are still friendly and cooperative ,and you rarely see any trouble here--I have lived here for thirty-four years and I still feel safe and I don't think that I will ever move away! Thanks again for the good wishes and prayers--I can't wait to be where you are!
Be Blessed!
