you want me to take what?!?

Well, I talked to Dr. Gellman and he told me to take Fleet Phospho-Soda. He said no more MOM that I took enough of it already. He says I need to go to the bathroom asap and kept on repeating over and over "I cant believe you havent gone poop yet". I told him I think someone put a curse on me and he said he will help take the "poopy curse" off of me. I said no its the "have a horrible life curse". Never in a million years did I ever think I would hear a doctor say "poopy curse". ( I think i am bringing this side out in him.) Anyway, he said he wants me to go to the store now and buy it and call him back when I have an "explositon". I told him he has lost his mind. I told him that I was going to run away, live under a rock and be miserable. I will pack my cottage cheese, protein pudding and egg drop soup so i can still try to be healthy just miserable. I told him I am going to tell my husband to find the trail of the empty stallone pudding containers to find which rock I am under but not to tell gellman. Anyway that is the update. I think I might wait until tomorrow to do the fleet b/c that is hardcore. Tavia

Tavia, Well I laughed, but felt bad at the same time....atleast you still have a sense of humor!!!! After my surgery I didnt "go" for 3 weeks.....I guess if you were real uncomfortable you would'v run to the store today....so your holding out for one more day. Anyway, how long do you have to stay on puree now for? YOu must be so sick of cottage cheese!! Janean

Tavia, hun I posted to you on the other post about this, I have something that my surgeon prescribed for me and is so mild but WORKS, I do not have the name with me now but when I get home if you want I can let you know! It mixed in with my crystal light and you did not even taste it! Best of luck, I would think the fleet would be so hard on your system since you just had the surgery but who know.. Hun I think you should do what he told you and don't wait until tomorrow. The sooner you go the better you're going to feel. I'm a little surprised that he didn't insist on seeing you so he could listen for bowel sounds. Joanne

Girl.... ask your Dr for a prescription of Glycolax.... it had me poopin like I have never pooped before, all within 5 hours. You have to take it daily by mixing it in your shake, pudding, water, or whatever else.... and it is tasteless! Good Luck Jalonda 371/198/160?
