I can't believe it yet, I am stunned. Yesterday I get a letter from AETNA that says, We received your appeal on the 13th of september and you will hear from us in 15 days, BLAH, BLAH, BLAH. For those of you that know me, you know I am now on MAIL WATCH DUTIES right. As soon as I walked thru the door tonight first thing I did was check my mail... I find a letter from AETNA, I didn't think it was an approval letter at all, I figured they sent me a duplicate of the one I read yesterday. Anyway I made my wife read it to me cause I didn't have the guts to read it myself. She hands it to me and tells me it looks good and that I needed to read the third paragraph. This is what it said:

"Based upon our review of the available information, we are reversing our original determination and will now provide benefits for gastric bypass (spt4 code 43644)" SO I GUESS I AM APPROVED!!!!!!!!

I am doing the FAT GUY DANCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (not for long though!!) THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR THE ENCOURAGING EMAILS!!!!!!! -ENZO Ps. I am sorry for all the nasty things I said about Aetna, I take most of them back LOL
