My first consult was cancelled !

Hi all, Hope everyone is doing well ! I am a lil down b/c my surgeons office called this morning and cancelled my consult that was for tommarrow ! They rescheduled for Sept. 30 but I was so looking forward to getting things rolling...... ya know ? Bummer ! My husband also wants to be there with me and had already scheduled a work day off for tommarrow which was not easy for him to get it so that sucks too ! Now he has to try and schedule next Friday off and he said he did'nt think he could get it ! It seems it is always something ! On a better note though, my profile was done today !!! Yeah !! I love it !!! All the volunteers do an excellent job with our profiles and I know they are very busy ! It took awhile but it was worth the wait ! That really cheered me up seeing that it was done ! Carol; Your profile looks great. Can you tell me how it is done? I understand about the consult. I waited 1.5 years for my first consult, now I have to wait for a date because they found I have sever reflux and the doctor wants me to take meds for 6 weeks and do another endoscope before she gives me my date. Yesterday she keep saying she was sorry because she just wants to be sure all is well. My thinking is I waited this long.... but I am disappointed. Next Friday will be a good day for you I am sure. Hi Karen, Thanks for the reassurence ! It does help alot ! As for the profile , You email one of the html volunteers on this site and they do it for you . When you email them they send you a auto response telling you what you must do for them to spruce up your profile such as finding a web set or web link to your liking . They also tell you what these are . Just do a search for ex. if you like birds type in your search box bird websets or bird weblinks and it will give you a whole slew of them . Here is the email address to ask for your spruce up, [email protected] It does take awhile for them to do it b/c they are so busy but they will get to you so be patient. They send you the auto reply immediatly following your email to them so be watching for it . I hope all this helps .
