Joy like no other...
But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.
Acts20:24
After a night of many tears and questioning... I woke up this morning and had a chat with my heavenly father. Which turn into another crying fit.
My cousin gave me this book yesterday by Joyce Meyer... "Straight talk" Dealing with worry, stress, depression, etc.
The chapter on depression came to my attention and the first thing I read was that passage (acts20:24). It was like such and overwhelming feeling of freedom from this whole thing. The tears went away and began to smile and really mean it.
I can honestly say that I have not felt this good and peaceful in year. Inspite what ever happens. I know it is in God's hand and if the surgeon or surgery is for me it will happen?
Thanks Ladies for being a sounding board...
Hey Ladrika,
I'm so glad to hear that you are feeling better. I waited for a year and a half to have my surgery and I just had it on the 12th of this month. I prayed for a LONG time. Just keep remembering that God's timing is divine for reasons we may never know. May the Lord bless you with a surgery date soon if it is His will.
God bless,
Dawn
