OT: APARTMENT SEARCH
Hello Everyone. I am looking to move out of New York City. I have lived here all of my life and I need some change. Not only do I need some change, I need some where to live where I don't have to work just to pay rent; get me? I'm a single mother of one lovely 10 Yo boy. I have a decent job and I'm very reliable, I believe rent should be paid before any other luxury. Anyways I was told I could find a decent apartment Upstate New York. I don't know anything about Upstate, I bearly know my area. I need a two bed room apartment where the rent is no more than $800. I was told I could get something real nice for less than $800. I pay over $800 dollars now for rent and I only have one bedroom. Heres the situation, I need something close to the metro north 45 to 60 mins from the city, because I can't I mean I won't leave my job because it pays well. I'm looking to be gone by the end of next year I still have some kinks to comb out.
I am a decent hard working person, who doesn't like problems, so don't be afraid to tell me about something in your neighborhood.
Hi Gemini! I also live in the Bronx, where in the Bronx do you live? I live in the Soundview-Morrison area and I live in a rent stabilzed apartment. I have three bedrooms and 1 and a half bathrooms, it is a clean and safe building. The rent goes according to 30% of your income and we also have an after school program here and other things as well. The building is newly renovated for the past 3 years and we have 24 hour security.
Hello Marie. I live in parkchester. I need somewhere I could afford. And I need more room. You think I could get into your building? How is the area? If you could E-mail me information I would appreciate it. Is there a min and max you could earn a year? I'm one of those people who make to much to get help and too little to help myself. I can't stand it. What train and buses run by you? I'm still ifie with Bx, I just know this area. Thanks.
