Date & Approval

I got my surgery date last week and spoke to United Healthcare this week and my surgery is approved. I'm just waiting for the formal letter.

My surgery will be on October 10th.

Hey Stephen I have United Healthcare as well and I was told by my Surgeon that they are the best when it comes to approving this Surgery. Congrats on the date and Good luck. Stay strong bro it will be here before you know it. Louis

Hey stephen

Congrats on getting the surgery date and approval! I also have united healthcare. When I orginally had my surgery my surgeon was a provider in the plan. Unfortuntely he dropped united healthcare b/c of "unfair practices" from them. So I have to use out of network plan, which means 150 dollars a visit and I do not even what to think what this next surgery is going to cost me.

Who knows but I am sure it all boils down to money. The reason they stated in the letter to me from the surgeons office was "unfair practices" by United Healthcare.

BTW where on Long Island do you live. I am from New Hyde Park. Tavia
