COMPLETELY STRESSED OUT~~~
Hi everyone...just need to rant a bit.....
So, my surgery is scheduled on Wednesday and I had an appt for this Sunday with my PCP to get my medical clearance. I get a call from her office at 5:30 this evening telling me that they need a copy of my cardiac clearance letter because my pre-op EKG was abnormal. Well, my surgeon's office has the copies of all of that. And, since she called me so late, both my surgeon and my cardiologist's offices are closed. So, the lady from my PCP's office said they will reschedule me to come in on Tuesday for my medical clearance, as I can contact my doctors on Monday and have them fax the letter over. Isn't that cutting it a bit close? The LAST thing I want to be doing Tuesday night is going over to see my doc! I am going to ******vous wreck! I just don't like things being so last minute. It annoys me that I made the appt a week ago and they call me so late on a Friday to inform me that they are missing info.....UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm sure it will all work out, but the thought of having my surgery cancelled or delayed is driving me nuts. I need to get some sleep and try to relax.

i think what doctor garber means is if he doesnt end up sueing you he will take good care of you he is now sueing a patient for double what the insurance companys would have given him when she clearly said she would pay him off after a mix up with the insurance money .... well what i think is that if he wins the case and gets the money he should buy some ethics and some bedside manor....... if you can switch surgeons now!!!!

Stacy,
Oh my god you made me spit out my iced coffee. Good for you for speaking up and stating the obvious. See what I mean by "spies".

Erin,
I know what you mean. When I was having all my preop tests done, I had my cardiac stress test cancelled twice because the machine was down! I still managed to have my surgery 2mos after my 1st consultation because I pushed for it everyday! And I had my insurance approved in 3 days, not 5 weeks like the hospital predicted! So hang in there, keep a positive attitude, & I bet all will go well. Keep us posted.

You want to hear stressed out, i'm now at the point were my Doc has OKed me and now i'm at the point of getting the Insur. ok. WELL I just found out yesterday that Health Now isen't going to be offered at wal-mart in NY anymore. SO NOW I HAVE TO SEE IF THE INSUR. CO. OK'S ME IF I CAN GET IN BEFORE THE END OF THE YEAR AND IF I CAN'T I'M GOING TO HAVE TO THE CRAP ALL OVER AGAIN FOR BLUE CROSS. My surgen only does 2 Gass.By a week and only on Wedsdays, so i have to see how long his waiting list is or see if i can jump to a different surgen, but i like my guy but i got to do what i got to do. I'll keep my finger crossed...
