Roll Call (happy Friday)

Hello Everyone I'm so HAPPY it's Friday....my busy season is over here at work as of today.....so I can breath and get back on track with my eating again.... here is a little update on my progress.....I start out in my journey weighting 346 now 215 that 131 lbs gone.....I was a size 26 now a 14 I was 4xl now I am in Med......WOW I feel good..... even though I am very tired from the registration here....but I still feel good..... I had foot surgery in June and now on the 23rd I will have foot surgery again....that stinks....cause that means I will have to stop going to the gym again..... So how are you doing......what are you doing this week-end..... don't forget to take your vitamin's water and protiens, exercise and sign some surgery support pages... Christine

Hi! I am still waiting for approval it has been a long couple of weeks. We are going to a comedy show tonite with 6 friends and tomorrow going to my sister in laws for dinner and sunday for lunch to celebrate a birthday for my 14 year old neice. Her dad is in Iraq for the third time. I have lost 19 of my 20 required pounds prior to surgery. I have tried several dessert receipes from this web site and my children have enjoyed them. I bet you feel real proud to be in a size medium. I bought pants back in april they were a tight 22 and they are loose on me now so that feels good. I also have jeans in 24 and 26. Some are looser and some are still tight...go figure. I do know my tops are looser too. I am looking forward to the day when I can wear smaller sizes. Have a great week end. Hugs Chris

Hi Chris you are off to a great start following your doctor's instructions.....losing the weight proir to surgery helps shrink the liver and make it easier for your surgeon to work his magic..... I'm sure you will do great with your tool once you get it......doyou have a date yet..... Wow you have a busy week-end planed.....I really am just gonna be at home this week-end and try to get things done before my next foot surgery..... Have a great time Chris Christine

Happy Happy Friday To You Too Christine ! Congrats ! ! You must be very proud of yourself girl!!! A size 14.... WoW !!!! I have not seen that size on me since high school ! I know I will again once I have surgery and who knows maybe not a 14 but hey a 16 don't sound bad either !!! Well my daughter is feeling better so I shipped her back to school today ! YIPEEEEE ! She is back to being her regular sassy teenager self now !! My DH has to work this weekend so I think I will just hang out at home and maybe get some cleaning done . That is about all I have planned for the weekend ...sounds so exciting Hugh? I hope you enjoy your weekend , Take Care, Carol

glad the sassy teen is feeling better.....I'm doing the same thing this week-end staying at home getting things done before my foot surgery next Friday.....so hubby's working this week-end.,...don't feel bad my hubby works week-ends all the time....so I know how exciting it can be ......or is that exciting when they are home...:hummm: You have a great week-end sweetie Christine

throws out a hug or six there Well - I can feel like Brenda Bimbo if I want to. Here's the deal. I have been just bone weary for weeks. No reason, no working harder, doing physical stuff, just exhausted. THEN I recalled that when I was getting the TT, Dr. Anain said that my iron was low. Additionally, one of the other boards was talking about how, at a year and a half out, many of us begin to experience this low iron AND low B12. Long story short, I am getting new labs, but I am also getting put on Trinsicon, which is apparently a more bioavailable form of iron and B12 for us RNY'ers. It only took a couple months for me to realize I was tired from these two very important deficiencies....... But I'm gonna be just peachy in short order! Yall have a marvelous day

Christine, I am glad TGIF as well even though I only worked 3 days this week, it sure felt like 2 weeks. Well we just got some bad news with my one kitty cat, she is jaundice and they say that is not good but we get the test results tomorrow so please say a little kitty prayer that she will be ok. This year has been so bad, with losing the 2 cats and doggie in our house fire in Jan, another one passed that we took in at my Mothers house and maybe my Trappy. Why so many in 8 months time.. I guess only an animal lover can understand that they become part of the family, and even more so since we do not have kids. Well I will try to keep smiling and see what happens tomorrow.....
