I HAVE A DATE!!!!

I can't believe it, yesterday I got approval from insurance and today I got my date. I will have surgery on October 6. I am so excited. I am so looking forward to my journey to the new me. Rita Ann

Rita congrats on your date. I am very happy for you. I have a question about your insurance. Did you get a call from them or your doctor to say you were approved? I too have univera and I think my doctor's office sent my information over yesterday. No one can tell me for sure....It should have been sent 8/29 but they screwed up. Hugs Chris

Chris, My Doctor's office submitted the paper work on Tuesday and on Wednesday they had the approval.. The Doctor's office called me to let me know I had been approved. I have Univera PPO. I called customer service and they sent me the information on what they needed to approve the surgery. Basically it was a courtsey request. My union worked hard to get us a good health insurance package and I guess they did a good job....I hope that you heare very soon and good luck to you. Rita Ann
