My surgery went well. However, I had a little complication afterwards, my blood pressure was 199/100 and refused to go down. They worked on me until 11:00pm and finally sent me to the step down. I came home on Sunday night. I have so much gas pain and GAS-X is not working. I'm going to start walking more today as I'm feeling a little better. Thanks to everyone for their support.

Hi Louis, I'm so happy that you're doing well. I thought about you on Saturday as Dr. Herron came to see me, I think he got weekend duty. I can't say enough good things about the program at Mt. Sinai. Thanks for the referral. It's good to join you on the losing side.

Congrats Dee!! Welcome back! Glad everything went kind of smoothly. I dont remember having gas pains but I hope you can get rid of it soon. Why are you having so much gas pain though? Just wondering. Keep up the good work. xoxo Tavia

Maybe I'm not walking enough? Everyone says to walk so I'm going to make a conscious effort to walk more. Thanks.

Dee, Congratulations! I am so happy for you! It seems to be a special "gift" that we, of Mount Sinai seem to get. Gas just hurts! Move as much as you can. In bed, turning from side to side also helps. How is your blood pressure now? Now all the fun begins! You are a Loser! Linda

Congrats, Congrats!! Keep moving, honey...it's the only thing that helps get rid of the gas. And another piece of unsolicited advice, be easy on yourself. Don't rush trying new foods, just take care of your body and then it will do waht it's supposed to do. Welcome to the losing side!!! L*
