Back from UGI

Well everything went alright during the test even though that stuff tasted horrible. I gagged it up quite a few times and it seemed like the radiologst Dr. was getting annoyed at me. I was cool to see it on the TV even though I didnt know what i was looking at. I could see my gas bubbles popping in my stomach. Anyway, they said they were going to send the report over to the Drs. by the end of the day. My husband said the surgeons office is calling over for the results as well. Dr. Gellman called left me a message saying that it's probably nothing to significant and that he really wants to talk to me. All I have to say about that is easy for him to say when all I can eat is baby food. To me that is a significant problem. I will call friday morning when he is in the office and has the results of the UGI. My husband also made an appt. for me to see him on monday morning. Here we go again. I got pulled over for speeding on the L.I.E. I really didnt realize how fast I was going b/c I am so out of it. I told the cop that I have eaten anything really in like two days, I dont sleep well and I was sick. He seriously thought I was drunk and did a breathalizer test on me. He told me that I look like I need to go home and take a rest. I was going to fast that he gave me a summons to traffic court. . Wonderful. Just what I need, you know? Anyway, tonight is my sons open house and he pre-school so at least I have something nice to look forward to a kind of bad day so far. Take care everyone! Tavia

Tavia, WOW like you need more to make ya crazy, I did not think they pulled anyone over on the LIE! SO did they tell you they see it having problems leaving your pouch or do you have to wait again? I wish you the best hun and please keep up posted.... ~hugs~ Debra P

Tavia, Yuck, that stuff is awful!!! Who can blame you for being upset, that mushy stage is very difficult...especially when you have a family that eats "regular" food. And when we are under stress our old outlet would've been to eat, so it's hard to know where to turn. Enjoy your sons open house...they are sooo cute at that age. My little girl is 3. Hugs, Janean

Tavia (sweetie) I am glad to hear that the test went okay ! Makes you wonder if these Radiologist DR.'s have ever had a UGI done to them ? If they have they should not be getting annoyed at you for gagging a lil bit ! I posted an answer to your reply on the stent , you'll have to check it out I was a little late posting back to you . I'm sorry ! I am sorry to hear about your speeding ticket but I have to say the officer was probably right .... You need to get some rest after all this stress in your life !
