Roll Call and support

Hello everyone Well I made it here early enough to get in this post.....but I will be running soon....I have a doc appointment....before foot surgery again...... Ok those of you who are looking for a support group meeting in Brooklyn here it is it will be this Sunday....so those of you who are interested in coming please e-mail me or respond to this post....I look forward to seeing you all.... Now how are you doing......the kids are back in school yeahhhhh..... they really need a routine opps or is that me I see Deb has been keeping up with the food....and what you are eating ,...keep up the good work sweetie I know this really helps the lurkers...... Come on in and join roll call say hello or what's on your mind.... you know the drill....take your vitmins, water, and protien....and don't forget to exercise and sign a surgery support page or two and if you really have it in you get to the third one..... Christine, Hello hun ~hugs~ Home again with something like a flu.. Not sure what is going on but yesterday and this morning it is pretty bad. (see my what did you eat post for details, if ya want them. ) Now I am also worried about losing my job for taking time off like this, I have not sick time left because they made me take my 2 weeks vacation plus my 1 week sick time for the surgery. I do not get paid for when i am out. I guess that can add to the stress as well huh.... Sorry to hear you are not feeling better......I hope you feel better soon sweetie I know the stress of worrying about losing your job.....and not having any time left to take off.....just try to stay positive and we will hope for the best.....you have been a good employee and have not taken time off in the passed so maybe they will take that into consideration.....( keeping my fingers crossed ) My surgery will be next friday the 23 so I will be out of work again for another week....I am also worried about my job we now have new owners and take off is not going to help.... Good Morning Christine Just poppin in to say hello to you and everyone ! Yeah ... it's gonna be a hot one today ! My daughter has been home sick with and ! Sounds like the stomach flu..... YUCK ! Poor thing ! It is awful to see your kids sick ...Is'nt It ? She just started back to school last wenesday . I hate to have her miss school so soon but can't send her sick. Hopefully she will be feeling better soon b/c homework is already piling up on her ! Well I hope your day goes well for you and as Deb said .." Let us know when that foot surgery will be ." Christine, Morning! Yesterday I had another endoscopy, which looked pretty good, & didn't explain why I have been having so much trouble keeping my food down. I had to take the day off from work too, & I don't think I have any time left due to my surgery, either. I am trying to keep the food very light. Have a great day. Linda

I so sorry to hear you are having no relief with your food staying down.....is it possible you might be eating to fast or not chewing enough......this can also cause problem keeping food down.....is it possible that your tummy is still healing and is not ready for solid foods yet....I just looking to find some way for you to have relief from this it could be very stressfull when you are having complication after WLS I hope you don't get discourage cause once this lets up I'm sure you will be doing hand stands......I hope you feel better soon sweetie keep us posted on what is happening with you... Hi Christine! Today my son went off to pre-school for his second day. He is so cute w/his thomas the train backpack that is bigger than him. He told me he was not going to cry but that he was going to be shy. He also told me he wasnt going to go to the bathroom at school but will hold it until he gets home. Just like my husband, he hates going to the bathroom anywhere but home. Maybe its a guy thing but for me when I gotta go I gotta go so I dont care where it is! Have a great day! Tavia

I'd love to hear about a support group in Brooklyn...I'll take all the support I can get! Things are doing better for me...I'm managing my food better, riding my bike three times a week, weighing and measuring, buying some new clothes...yeah, things are looking up. I hope everyone has a fantastic day. Today is my daughter's b-day, she's 3 (going on 16, ha ha) and I'm having some family over for cake and coffee. I made a cake I don't like so eating it won't be an issue. I love that I'm regaining control of my food and therefore my life. I got really sloppy for about a month and drastically decreased my losses. I'm down 76 pounds since April 21st and haven't had this much energy since high school. I'm now a size 12, haven't seen a 12 in almost 9 years. Sending out hugs and healthy vibes for all of you!!!
