Getting nervous....

Hello my friends! I haven't been on too much lately because I went back to work last week and have been REALLY busy with everything. Well, my surgery is 10 days from today and my anxiety is through the roof! I went to my pre-op testing Thursday and I guess that all went well. I am assuming they would have told me if anything was wrong. This Thursday I have an endoscopy to make sure that my tummy has cleared up with the Nexium I've been on. Then...my big day is next Wednesday! I can't believe it's just around the corner. Thinking about this has consumed my thoughts and I find it so hard to concentrate on work or anything else. Hopefully this week will go quickly because next week will just be preparation. Any advice about ANYTHING would be appreciated. Thanks guys! Erin

Good luck, Erin. I will be praying for you. How long do you plan on taking off after the surgery? I had my surgery August 10th, then went back to work for one day Aug.31, then full time back on Sept. 7. I prob could have gone back sooner, but school did not start until then. Let me know how you are doing. SH

I know where you are coming from, my surgery is Thursday, Im a wreck, It was supposed to have been on the 6th of September but I had to reschedule as my ex-son-in-law passed away suddenly, he was only 29, went to bed and never woke up, my grandchildren are only 5 and 6. It was a very difficult time. It was a fairly nice divorce for the children sake, and they are having a really rough time. I feel like Im getting cold feet, but I just keep trying to think how great it will be in a few months. Im really scared
