Maggie,
Congrats hun and it is nice to see ya posting... ~hugs~ The stage 2 can be a upsetting phase, well it was for me. I felt like I would NEVER be able to eat normal again. Now I look back and can giggle but wow was I depressed!
I had to be on the stage 2 for 6 weeks and I found what helped some was trying new things, changing up the menu because I for one would get bored eating the same things all the time. The things I had were:
Protein Shakes
Cottage Cheese
Scrambled Egg
Ricotta Cheese with carb smart sauce
s/f Pudding
s/f Ice pops
Any meat like: Chicken and Seafood blended with mayo
Soups
Well that is all I can think of now hun and I wish you luck ~Hugs~

Hi Maggie,
Congratulations on your surgery. I'm almost 3 weeks out & am still on Stage 2. I agree with Debra on what she has listed. So far, no problems with any foods as of yet. I pretty much have only had chicken & Bush's no bean chili for meat, also have had Gortons unbreaded fish in Garlic & Herb & Lemon Pepper flavors & they've also been great. I'm going to try egg salad tomorrow. Have you posted on the August 2005 board? It's nice to go there & walk hand & hand with other August surgeries. Good Luck & keep us posted.

Glad to hear that you are doing well. Take your time re-introducing foods back into your diet. I f possible try them at home first just in case what you ate makes you In the begining some foods that you used to love will make you sick but that can change the further post-op that you get.
