Well, I got news yesterday that my surgery date has been moved up one day. Sept. 8th instead of the 9th. Now I have really noticed my anxiety level kick into high gear. I logically know that I will be fine during surgery but the other half of me says "I don't care". I wonder if I'm as prepared as I should be for the initial changes I will be experiencing. Anyone with any advice, please help.

Annette, Everyone is so different before surgery and how they are feeling, for me it was scared and excited. For my cuz it was pure joy and excitement, so we are all different in the way we react to stress. As long as you know this is right and you really want to do this then I say the anxiety is normal. You are making a big change to you life and it can be scary but I have to say that I am so glad I made this choice for myself. Even others that have had complications, they all say the same thing! But only you know what is right for you hun.. ~hugs~ I wish you the best and keep us posted, your day is almost here. Have a great holiday weekend.... Debra P 285/226.5/125??

Annette, I know exactly what you're feeling. I posted a message for advice a couple of days ago because I was scared to death and was having second thoughts about the surgery. I'm now 3 days out and I couldn't be happier!!!! I prayed the night before and an hour before I was placed on the operating table and left it as that. All, I can say is have faith and just know that in 6 days you too will be a looser! May God Bless You sweetie and keep in touch Maggie
