I have a date! - Horseheads

September 20th - a date w/Dr. McKane. ? - anyone else from our area booked for the same time???? I am off the wall w/excitement tonight. I don't have time to steam carpets, pack, paint, clean the refer and pantry....time is going to fly. Any suggestions on items to pack for the hospital? I love really cold water - does the temp cause any bad side effects?

Dear Sue, Congratulations on getting your date. I am laughing so much from your post -- you sound like me -- "steam carpets, pack, paint ....... I think about those things every day that I have to do -- I make lists upon lists and most days just fly by and none of it gets done. I have two small children so hard to do anything but the basics. Anyway -- thanks for the laugh -- I needed it -- it's funny how us women think -- it must be the nesting syndrom. Anyway, good luck with everything and keep us posted. Love Debbie

Sue, Congrats on getting your date hun I know it is so very exciting and remember that I was smiling for days... You are right that it will go very fast and be here before you know it. I took only small stuff to the hospital as they have almost everything that you will need: my own pillow chap stick toothbrush deodorant brush circle word book extra underwear but the only thing that I used was my chap stick, deodorant and my own pillow, they supplied everything else......and I did use my extra underwear as aunt flo visited the day after surgery....eeeewwww Well I hope that helps. ~Hugs~ Debra p 285/228/125??

Congratulations Sue!! I know the excitement of actually having a date! I had Dr Cole and Dr McKane assisted, because Dr Cole normal assistant was out of town...I had a textbook procedure. Your excitement will grow the closer you get! Good luck to you Tara
