I'm home!!!!

Hi everyone!! I just got home from vacation this morning at 1:30 am and am bushed!! Well worth it though, we all had a great time at the ocean. (Virginia Beach) We had really nice weather and I got lots of walking in!! Was a great vacation and lots of fun, but you know how they say there's no place like home.....boy is THAT the truth! Karry I am glad you are back ! I missed ya ! It is nice to hear that you had a great time. We all know were the heart is though ....... HOME ! Hi Carol!! So glad to be back!!!!! I am soooooo happy to be home. I guess the best part of the whole vacation after having surgery is the fact that I wore a bathing suit on the beach and felt like I should be wearing one. We went to Maine 3 years ago and I have a picture of me on the beach with my bathing suit on and I can't believe I wore it in public. I looked so heavy and uncomfortable. Also when we walked around in Maine I remember being out of breath a lot easier than now. Also a great accomplishment for me was while in V.B we went to a park for the kids called Mt. Thrashmore and there's a HUGE hill, very steep. We all climbed it and I actually wasn't the last one and got up there and could still breathe!! Then we played up on top of the hill for a little while and then I RAN down the hill!!! What fun!! I never thought of exercise as something enjoyable until now. Talk with you soon! Karry

Karry, Hun welcome back... It has been so quiet on the board since the summer and I am glad to see ya here. I am also glad you had a great time. I have to say I could not view the wedding pics and I did not see the new link, did I miss it? Well if you have the link can you re-post it? I would also like to know the same thing Carol asked about how vacations are different now? Hi Debra, I have 2 of my wedding pictures at the bottom of my profile if you want to see them. I had a hard time with finding things to eat the way down and home. Alot of the choices on the interstates are fast food. I would get a chicken sand. and eat just the chicken. You can get fruit and things like that now too. As far as when we got there we stayed with family so I went grocery shopping and got a lot of my normal food. Much easier!! Nice to be back and you take care too!! Hi Christine!! Boy do I wish I could sit back and relax!!! I have my parents anniv. party on Sat., my oldest goes back to preschool next Mon. and I have a baby shower to go to in 2 weeks!! Does it ever end???? I guess thats what keeps me going!!! So nice to see ya and I'm glad to be back!! Karry
