Hi there Christine, How are you? Happy Sunday to you. I am fine. I hope you are enjoying your journey on your WLS. I had my surgery 12/15/03. I weighed 245 lbs and was a very bad diabetic. I have lost 115 pds and now have been at "GOAL" and I am trying to maintain my weight between 130-135 lbs. I am 5ft 6 so I feel I am where I want to be. Sometimes I get scared when I don't get full so fast, and then it hits me. When I think I am eating too much, the feeling of full is there. I can't eat like before. Thank God for that. Christine.....Try drinking some water first and then you will get full faster. I find the crunchies are the "FOOD DEMONS"...meaning they go down well and I can eat alot of it. I try eating dense foods. Proteins are the dense foods I am talking about. Best of Luck to you girl Remember "You are not alone" We are here for you.

Christine, Hun sorry I missed your roll call Sat. ~Hugs~ I know how it feels to feel your self eating more again, though it is small but I can see an increase in the food I can take in already and I am only almost 3 months out! Not a lot more at this time but it is rather scary though I know it happens as you heal and your body gets back to your normal life but WOW it makes ya scared. See since the surgery we notice these things now where before we kind of passed them over so that is a good step for us, though we might need some help with the rest. I know I will have to see someone about eathing again. I noticed that my carb intake is increasing and I am not happy with that! The more I try to watch it, the worse it gets so I am going back to taking in only the meats (protein) and veggies. Well if ya want to chat just call me hun, I am here anytime. ~hugs~ Debra P 285/229/125??
