I decided on a surgeon

I have decided to go with Dr. Kenneth Granniero in Utica. I am all approved with the insurance, but he wants me to lose 30 lbs. before scheduling me for surgery. He says it will put me in a lower risk catagory. I was kinda bummed about this...but I do want to go into this as healthy as possible. I have allowed myself 1 month to do this, so I am really dieting; being very strict, but doing it safely. It seems like this whole journey has taken me forever. I am traveling 2 hours to see this Dr. because there is no one here local that does it anymore since the insurance hike. Oh well...the time is getting nearer. I just keep hanging in there, and do not give up. I just want to be a big loser!
