Well, first of all thank you all you wonderful New Yorkers. I've been reading all your post for some time (sometimes I post) but wanted to let you all know that first yesturday I went to my seminar, it was 4 hours. I almost died on how some individuals go into this with no information what so ever, not even a clue. Most of the information that I was given, (since I do my homework) I was quiet aware of. Secondly, I had my appointment with Dr. Tiexeira today. I had blood work (7 tubes - hope I still have some left), meet with the Nurse Practictionar - she said my liver seemed the perfect size. Was unable to meet with the nutritionist because I was there for 4 hours and had to get back to work, the nutritionist called me and I will be able to do my consult with her over the phone. I am scheduled for my pulmerary test next Tuesday, and trying to find a physchiatrist that takes my insurance and then I have to have that stomach sonogram. After that all I need is a note from my PCP saying go for it and then I should be done. I also need to attend another support group and I'm going to one on the 6th of Sept. Dr. T. said we should be able to get things rolling and hopefully have a surgery date in 4 to 6 weeks. Just wanted to share and thank all of you. Oh, I actually got weighed again, haven't been weighed in some time, since I had my son 18 months ago. I thought I was much hevier but I'm 306. Thanks Again Pat Smith 306/145
