Lisa,
Yes that is what I deal with, the pretzels. I grab a few and before I know I had another few, now that I keep track at fitday.com it really helps to SEE what you are doing and seeing the carbs go up. I love that place but you have to have the time to put it all in there. I am trying to add more protein again and stay away from the carbs but it is hard....
Yeah well there are some day that I "feel" hungry and others that I don't but more of late I am feeling hungry when it is time to eat. I am about 11 weeks out and you are about 12 so I wonder why we are hungry. I heard the same thing about the 6 month mark. Well what can ya do, just go with it and make it work!
We will have to get together when we break into the 100's, since we are running so close.
Well take care hun ~Hugs~

Hi Debra,
It's a beautiful day here in Rochester too. My boss is on vacation until next Thursday so I'm feeling that same illness coming on me too. It's hard to believe that it's the end of August already.
I was reading the mail between you and Lisa and know what you mean about having a "few" extra carbs. I'm 14 weeks post-op and still not feeling any hunger. Wish I could always stay this way, but know it will probably come back soon. I've lost 56 lbs total (my doctor didn't require me to lose any pre-op) - does that seem to be on track? The loss has seemed to slow down to 2-3 lbs a week.
You do a great job of replying to many of the postings and I think it's great. Keep up the good work

Cindee,
hello hun ~hugs~ I seems to be getting overcast here now.. Well I guess it might rain some today but I was thinking it wasn't. O well.
Yeah those damn carbs are a killer, I know we should have no more then 40 a day from what the Dr says but I am not sure there either. You doing awesome with your weight loss hun, that seems right on but then again I always feel like I am losing way to slow but I have to stop myself and think what if I did not have this surgery, it would have taken me almost a year to lose that 56 lbs that I have lost in 11 weeks.
I try to post back to everyone that posts to me, just to let them know I read the posts.
Take care ~Hugs~

Lisa,
Yeah and they are always eating here in the office I am glad it is things that I can NOT have (cookies, cakes and sweets) so I am ok there but damn I get to smell it.
You know that fruit has carbs in them too, damn it seems like they are ALL over the place, carbs I mean. I have some grapes with me at work and some watermelon at home, had some last night with some salt on it. I know SALT but I am craving salt...OMG....
~hugs~

Happy Wednesday all;
It is beautiful here in Niagara Falls today (as I gaze out my office window).
My doctor is requiring that while I wait for my surgery date that I lose some weight, so here I am on the South Beach diet week 1, and they had a birthday cake here (chocolate mocha). I sat there with my bottle of water and just pasted. That was very hard.
Well, I know you all understand,
Karen

Karen,
Hello hun ~hugs~ Yeah same here, though it got cloudy before it has cleared up now, a slight breeze. Nice!
Yeah all Dr's feel that losing weight before surgery is a good idea and it is. I know how you feel passing up things that you really enjoy but over time it really does get easier because you can put back some of the things but much smaller qtys.
I wish you the very best hun ~Hugs~
