Hey Joanne!
I am so sorry for your complications. That is so horrible what happened to you! I also love Dr. Gellman. I told my husband that I think i might have a crush on Dr. Gellman now By the way, You are looking great now! wow!
Thanks for your kind words.
Tavia
Sounds you had a much rougher time than I did. I'm sure you were quite terrified through all of that. I'm glad you're doing well. How much have you lost?
The last time I saw Dr. Gellman, I told I had gone scuba diving in St. Maarten in May. He asked me this question, "If I had told you when you first walked into my office that in 14 months you will be scuba diving, what would you have said to me?" I told him I would have said that he was on drugs. But that really did happen. This is the best thing I ever did for myself and I truly have Dr. Gellman to thank for that. I give him a kiss everytime I see him.
Joanne

My day of surgery I was 255 pounds. When I last saw Dr. Gellman (which was this past friday) I was 152. I expects me to get down to the low to mid- 120's. I am only 5'1. I was talking to him about how rude and judgemental some people can be about people who have had WLS. He then told me that in just a few months that people are going to start to say to me that I am "too skinny". I almost died laughing. Never in a million years did I ever think someone would tell me that I am "too skinny". Ha!
