support group in orange county????

Are there any support group in orange county????I hate going in manhattan for meeting because I have odd hour for work. Claire

Hiya Claire, Unfortunately I havent found any good support gorup in orange county. I was going to one that met every other Monday but we had to pay $25 per meeting so I stopped going. Well thats great - sounds like we have 4 of us so far.... So whats good for you guys? I work on Mondays and Thursdays - but could probably do a 7 pm meeting one of those nights once a month. Wednesdays for me are out. What do you guys think?

Andrea, Hun Mondays or Thurs nights would work for me, I work every day until 5pm and hubby works late on Mon or Thur so that would be good for me. Anytime after 5 pm works for me so let me know hun. Hiya Debra, I had looked into becoming a chapter leader previously but never ended up following through completely. I get e-mails on a monthly basis of things we can include in monthly meetings. I can complete the requirements to become chapter leader but it isnt required before we start meeting together. Either that or you can become chapter leader - or we can be co-chapter leaders I think. They encourage chapter leaders to post requently in state and main message boards and to update profiles on a regular basis. I update my profile but I cant seem to keep up with the boards as much as they want. As far as date and time, so far I have heard from yourself and: Patricia who said Sunday or Monday nights at around 8 pm are good for her (Sunday nights are out for me though) - she also suggested meeting at the Galleria in Middletown. Terry who said that she just has to wait to find out what night her daughter is taking ballet - she thinks Tuesday night but she has to find out for sure Still waiting to hear from Claire and Tooch. So far it seems like Monday evenings are best for everyone - although 8 pm is a little late for me - maybe we can start just a little earlier - like 7 or 7:30 or something. and

I haven't had my surgery yet but would love to be part of a support group, please let me know. Wed. is not a good night, probably Monday's are best because my husband is off.....I'm in Washingtonville....let me know.
