Hi Everyone I have been a lurker for quite some time now and just want to say that ...I love this site !!! Everyone is so supportive and caring ! I have a question ... We have to take in all this water after surgery and you have to take it in between meals.. okay... How do you fit all this drinking in while your at work ? If someone works say in a warehouse and can't have water on the floor then how do you manage to drink enough between meals ? It probably sounds dumb ...but I worked in a place that did'nt allow water on the floor and I would'nt want to get dehydrated or anything ! Thanks , Carol

Hi Carol, can't you just have a couple bottles of water or crystal lite lemonade (SF) in a bag that you take with you to work or a shopping bag? Also, you may want to discuss this with your boss or supervisor and explain the importance of you taking as much liquids as possible throughout the day. I, for instance, freeze up two bottles (every night) one of water and one of crystal lite lemonade. I take them out of the freezer right before I go take my morning shower so they start defrosting. I take them to work in my bag, still frozen and just take smalls sips at at time; normally by mid-day they have defrosted completely but are still nice and chilled. (I can't stand drinking water or any other soft drink unless they're very VERY cold, otherwise they make me nauseous.) Hope this helps. Good luck! Dolly

Thanks Dolly, What a great idea ! I can't drink warm water either . It has to be really, really cold. I would have to talk with my supervisor though as I have never seen anyone with food or liquid on the floor where I used to work . I have not had surgery yet but hopefully soon I will be.... and I want to cover all my bases before I run into this type of situation . Thanks again , Carol
