Self pay question

I will have to be a self pay and was wondering if it takes as long to get a surgery date, since there would not have to be approvals involved.Thanks Debbie

I wouldn't think so. You probaly will have to still have some test and they shouldn't take that long. MY tests took one month to complete (done by July 27th) and now I am waiting for the doc to submit for approval. Good Luck. Hugs Chris

Hi Chris, where are you having your surgery done? I was thinking maybe a month of testing. I know I will need a sleep apnea test too. Thanks for replying to my question. And good luck to you also!!!! Debbie

Hey Debbie, I am having mine done at Lockport Memorial Hosp. I had to have a sleep study and yes I have apnea started with a Cpap machine and finally getting used to it. I had to have a psych eval and see a nutritionist and also go for a colonoscopy. All is fine though. Good luck with your journey. Hugs Chris
