5 month mark

Today is my 5 month mark and I am feeling great! I am down about 80# and have so much energy. Its still hard to believe that I am getting as small as people say I am. I am in a size 16 (my friend and hubby say are big on me) and have 3 pair of size 14 pants that are a little tight, but I dont need to jump, squeeze or tuck myself into them. WOW...who'd a thought it... On 8-8-05 I hit a first time ever moment!! I allowed Joe (my hubby) to carry me...yikes... lol. He carried me like a groom would carry his bride, then after that he gave me a piggyback ride though the house. I kept asking him if I was breaking his back...he laughed and said that he could of done it before I lost any weight. There was no way I would of let him even try. Another Wow moment was when I was playing bingo with my mom and there was a lady that squeezed behind my chair and I said sorry and pulled my chair in...and she said "its not your fault, I am the fat one" I sat there is shock...cause I was always the fat one, so I told her about my losing the weight and how hearing her say that was like telling me that I am not fat. I still see myself as fat and its still hard to hear the comments on how good I am looking. I hope one day that I will believe the words that I hear. Thats it for now...until next time... Tara, Hun those moments are great I have to say.... Not that I have had many yet but some. I am sure more will come once I really start to move down. Well thanks for sharing that and congrats on your BIG weight loss. Take care Debra P
