My surgery is cancel for august 15

Hey everybody, i called my insurance and they told me that the surgeon needed to call for the status. I called the office and she tells me ohh, august 15 is gonna have to me moved to september cause the surgeon is going on vacation. Can you believe that. I found this out cause i called instead of them calling me. Been crying most of the day but i have calmed already.

Awww Zulema, sorry to hear that. But listen, hun, you've come a long way and your surgery will happen soon; at least you know your insurance will approve you and the rescheduling is just because of the surgeon and not that the insurance won't approve you at all (we don't want that! right?). What's a couple more weeks? I went through a similar situation, just by a few days (I admit) but it was depressing as well. Yes, they should have called you and notify you instead of you finding out on your own. But, hey, at least you know now and can get even more prepared. Anyhow, you're on your way to meet us all on the BIG LOSER bench and we are awaiting your arrival with lots of excitement. Please don't let this setback get to ya, you'll be a loser in no time. hey, how you doing,. Thanks alot for the message, i'm feeling much better today and I hope i get this surgery soon as well. I believe now it was best to moved it cause my 2 younger kids will start day care on the 15 of august andthat will be better.

Im sorry for your postponement I know the feeling. I was supposed to go in on 8/16 but was pushed bac****il 9/7/05. I swear I dont think these Dr's understand how emotionally fragile we are. Well hang in their HUN and keep your head up. Louis

I know how you feel. I was on the table waiting to be wheeled into the operating room when the doctor came in to tell me he had an emergency come up and had to postpone me! I guess everything happens for a reason (so they say!). But I was devastated to say the least. My surgery was scheduled for the following week luckily. Hang in there - your day will come soon and you will be a LOSER before you know it! -Dee
